Greybush was a type of bush native to the planet Dathomir, consisting of a variety of dense green leaves. They grew in the forests, plains, and valleys of the planet. The Singing Mountain Clan of the Witches of Dathomir used the plant's leaves for their healing properties, while the Nightsister coven utilized them to cause harm.
In 1 ABY, during the Galactic Civil War, the Dathomirian witch Rubina asked a spacer to infiltrate either the Singing Mountain Clan or the Nightsisters, which resulted in the individual gathering Greybush leaves.
