Huttese ale was a beverage drunk by Hutts. The ale was yellow and fizzy, and it was usually served in mugs. However, Huttese ale had to be consumed quickly before it dissolved the mug in which it was served. In 20 BBY, Filba, a Hutt soldier of the Galactic Republic, drank Huttese ale during his stay at the Republic Mobile Surgical Unit 7 on the planet Drongar. After the Sullustan journalist Den Dhur commented on how quickly Filba drank the ale, the Hutt explained the need for its quick consumption.
