Jarwal tree

Jarwal trees were a type of tree found on the Outer Rim planet Akiva. The trees' branches grew gnarled in appearance over time and produced fragrant petals while producing Jarwal blooms. The trees partially shared their name with jarwal fiber, a type of fabric found in populated civilian areas on Akiva. At some point, a branch from an old-growth jarwal tree fell on the roof of the Saltwheel Playhouse establishment in Akiva's capital city, Myrra. In 4 ABY, the rebel pilot Norra Wexley traveled through the streets of Myrra and noticed the branch still present on the Saltwheel Playhouse's roof, years after it had fallen.
