Junior Lieutenant

Canon Legends version → Linked from 13 articles

Junior Lieutenant, or Lieutenant Junior Grade (abbreviated as Lieutenant JG), was a junior officer rank in some military organizations. Jams and Tobix Chasser served as juniors lieutenants in the Imperial Navy during the Age of the Empire. The rank insignia plaque of a junior lieutenant featured either two red squares sitting on top of two blue, which could also be the same as a regular lieutenant, or a line of two blue squares.

Prior to joining the newly formed Inferno Squad shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Gideon Hask served as a Lieutenant JG.
