Jybbuk-fruit

Jybbuk-fruit was a type of sweet-tasting fruit. It could be used to make red-colored jybbuk slush, which was used as an ingredient in Spiced Jybbuk Juice, a beverage from the Mid Rim world Etai.

In 4 ABY, the former Imperial loyalty officer Sinjir Rath Velus consumed the alcoholic beverage sashin-leaf mead while visiting the cantina Pok's Place in the Outer Rim planet Akiva's capital city of Myrra. He felt the mead tasted like a mixture of jybbuk-fruit and oi-oi berries. After a culinary tour of the galaxy that he took between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included the recipe for Spiced Jybbuk Juice and a brief description of its ingredients in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published in 35 ABY.
