Karoka fruit

Karoka fruit was a rare fruit that grew on the thermal vents on the Mid Rim planet Kijimi. The fruit had a spiky golden shell and was enjoyed by beings on Kijimi due to its innate head.

During 3 ABY the scoundrel Kay Vess and her Merqaal companion Nix traded a forged Identichip that they found in an alley on Kijimi to the human merchant Berek Keehro in Mirogana on the moon Toshara in exchange for karoka fruit.
