Kathracite crystal

Kathracite crystals were a type of crystal capable of being utilized in the construction of lightsabers. Alongside the danite crystals, the Jedi Order typically used kathracite crystals in training lightsabers during the tutelage of their Jedi Initiates. As a result of the crystal's presence within the lightsaber, the weapon was rendered non-lethal as well as generated minimal power.
