The mattberry was a type of berry found on the moon Endor. By 4 ABY, juicy mattberries grew alongside ferns and tree palms on the forest floor beneath Bright Tree Village, a treetop Ewok settlement on Endor. The Ewoks would sometimes come down to ground level to forage for fruits and berries.
