The Mountain Storm was an exercise in practice lightsaber combat involving full splits and an intricate pattern of blade work around the "mountain" of the body, before returning to a standing position using only the thigh muscles. It was possible to smoothly transition into the Mountain Storm from the Snake Ascending a Waterfall.
