Natchgas

Natchgas was a type of gas produced by bio-converter power generators like those used in the homes of enslaved individuals on the desert planet Tatooine. One such oversized power generator powered the Skywalker home and four other adjacent hovels in Slave Quarters Row in the city of Mos Espa, by 32 BBY. Underground pipelines fed the generators on the row with liquid sludge composed of animal and municipal waste that the machines then converted into natchgas.
