Nebula orchids were plants that grew on Yavin 4 and could be seen supported by Massassi trees. They had woody, lanky roots and flowers colored with brilliant swirls. When the vines of a nebula orchid were severed, they would writhe and leak the plant's deep purple sap. A short time later, the vines would stop writhing and start to contract.
