Pepper syrup

Pepper syrup was a variety of syrup described as "fiery." In 3 ABY, Cloud City's Baron Administrator, Lando Calrissian, asked his Executive Chef, the female Devaronian Torro Sbazzle, to prepare a meal for the Sith Lord, Darth Vader, following his arrival at tibanna gas mining colony orbiting the gas giant Bespin.

Fearing for her life should she provide an unsatisfactory meal, Sbazzle had decided to create a fancy spread for the man she'd described as the "Imperial bogeyman." It consisted of a beverage, dumplings, and a desert, as well as small globes formed from a khadi nut and hot pepper syrup blend garnished with silver dust.

While preparing the food, Sbazzle and her sous-chef, the Ugnaught Gersolik, had pondered if Vader could even eat what they were preparing, Gersolik having even proposed they poison the dishes due to her disdain for the Galactic Empire. The pair would not get the chance to serve their guest, however as the human male Rebel, Han Solo, would open fire on Vader in the dining room, disrupting the meal.
