A Pirate King, or pirate king, was a term given to some pirate leaders with enough influence. During the Clone Wars, Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka was referred to as a pirate king. Gorian Shard was also recognized as a pirate king among the Nevarro, including by High Magistrate Greef Karga, who despite taking out his henchmen still respected his power.
