Polta bean

Polta beans were a type of spherical brown bean. In 32 BBY, the enslaved human Shmi Skywalker had a pan of polta beans cooking on the stove in the kitchen of her home in Slave Quarters Row in the city of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine when she and her son Anakin Skywalker hosted the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Padmé Amidala, the Gungan Jar Jar Binks, and the astromech droid R2-D2 for a meal during a sandstorm.
