The Prefect of Police was a title used to denote the chief police officer of the Tahv Constabulary, a professional police force of the Lost Tribe of Sith's capital city of Tahv on the remote planet of Kesh. Despite the seniority of this position, one of its known holders Sith princess Takara Hilts regarded it as inferior to other positions like the Grand Lord's Hands, Sith Sabers and even Sith apprentices. The Prefect's job profile included apprehending and eliminating criminals, petty vandals and other low-level enemies of the Sith establishment.
