Prince

A prince was a hereditary title of some leaders, such as Prince Lee-Char, the son of King Yos Kolina who succeeded his father as leader of Mon Cala following a brief civil war as part of the Clone Wars, re-uniting the Mon Calamari and Quarren people of his world with the help of the Jedi. Colden was a prince of Firevale during the High Republic Era, and Prince Xizor was a leader of the Black Sun criminal syndicate during the Galactic Civil War. "Prince" was a typically masculine equivalent of "Princess."

If Alderaan was not destroyed, the son of Princess Leia Organa of the Alderaanian royal family would have been born as the Prince of Alderaan. Nonetheless, Vaneé addressed Kylo Ren by the title of prince in recognition of his heritage as the grandson of Darth Vader, who Vaneé had once served.
