Purlah Soup

Canon Linked from 6 articles

Purlah Soup was a type of soup made from swamp lentils that dated back to the Feast of Prosperity on the Hutt Space moon Nar Shaddaa. It was served in bowls to spectators at the moon's gladiatorial Grakkus Arena where they ate it while cheering on the combatants.

After taking a tour of Hutt Space booked by the Hutts that was made as part of a larger culinary tour of the galaxy between 34 ABY and 35 ABY, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs included a recipe for the dish in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which was published in 35 ABY. By the time of its publishing, the Feast of Prosperity, and therefore the soup, was considered ancient.
