Canon Linked from 5 articles

The Ritual of the Three was a cleansing ritual used by members of the Jedi Order which helped bind them to the light side of the Force. It was often used in times when inner turmoil threatened the individual. The ritual was conducted with the aid of the Balm of the Luminous, a specialized type of bandage adorned with ritualistic writing. During the ritual, the individual performed a recitation while wrapping the bandage up their supinated arm.

Around 228 BBY, Tey Sirrek guided the former Jedi Master Sskeer in the Ritual of the Three to help him in dealing with his Magrak Syndrome and his guilt over Goonral Monshi's death. They performed the ritual once more when Sskeer grew furious at finding his charge, a young Yacombe being tortured by the Nihil scientist Baron Boolan and his Children of the Storm, allowing the unstable Trandoshan to remain calm.

Around 82 BBY, Jedi Padawans Dooku and Sifo-Dyas, along with Jedi Master Lene Kostana, performed the Ritual of the Three to get rid of the dark side of the Force they had contracted on a mission to the cavern of the Presagers of Hakotei and to bind again to the light side of the Force.
