A sanger was a low-profile defensive position that could be constructed from rocks, logs, or other available objects. Clone commando RC-1136 was taught how to build a sanger by Mandalorian combat instructor Kal Skirata and built one from half-decayed logs while on a mission to the Mid Rim planet Qiilura in 22 BBY.
