Seedcakes were a kind of sweet cake covered in seeds. Sometime between 19 BBY and 18 BBY, the Pkorian Inquisitor visited her homeworld Pkori. There she met her grandmother Beamala and aunt Ellamak, who served her niece and mother tea with seedcakes. As Beamala and Ellamak discussed Akaris' brief childhood on Pkori, they mentioned how her early use of the Force was marked by the levitation of a jar of seedcakes. When Akaris prepared to depart the planet, the two sent a bag of food, including seedcakes, with her.
