Solstice Vegispheres were a type of vegetarian meatball made by the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, who wanted to make a dish that could be consumed by anyone while still feeling warm, comforting, and familiar. At some point after Tuggs published his first cookbook in 34 ABY, the chef included a recipe for Solstice Vegispheres in his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook. Although the book was themed around the Life Day festival and other midwinter holidays, Tuggs stated that one did not need to be celebrating any particular festival in order to enjoy the dish.
