Space psychosis
Canon Linked from 2 articles
Space psychosis was a deadly medical condition that could affect humans. By 132 BBY, the human miner Melo Tolicus succumbed to space psychosis due to the isolation and pressures of deep space mining. As a result, he killed several fellow miners. Tolicus was later arrested, and in that year, he was transported aboard the prison ship Palwick, during which special measures, including a parasitic dybbuk, were used to restrain and silence him.
