Syndic Prime

Syndic Prime was a political rank used by some Chiss families represented in the Chiss Ascendancy's Chiss Syndicure, the Ascendancy's main governmental body. It was considered the chief Syndic for one of the Nine Ruling Families of the Chiss Ascendancy within the Chiss Syndicure. When used, Syndic Prime was directly below the rank of Speaker, making it the third-highest known political rank within a Chiss family. This rank was typically kept as a family secret, only being used when extra authority was necessary. Mitth'urf'ianico of the Mitth family rose to the position of Syndic Prime after first serving as an Aristocra and subsequently a Syndic.
