A training commandant, also known as a Commandant, was the title given to combat instructors among the Imperial Guard of the reconstituted Sith Empire. Guardsmen were appointed training commandants if they reached the age where they were no longer fit for active duty, and they served at academies on worlds such as Yavin 4.
