Vecari tree

Vecari trees were a type of tree native to the forests of the planet Seylott. Crystalline needles were a key attribute of the trees. Until at least the High Republic Era, the Coruscanti people celebrated the Solstice Tide festival by transporting vecari trees to the planet Coruscant, decorating them with glow-globes and lining them across Republic Avenue, a street located in the planet's Galactic City.

Around 232 BBY, in the Commercial District of Coruscant, Jedi Master Stellan Gios leapt onto a vecari tree, sending its crystalline needles down onto the pedestrians below, who were amazed by the display. In The Life Day Cookbook, published after The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook release in 34 ABY by the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs, the chef mentioned that the Coruscanti tradition surrounding vecari trees was no longer in practice.
