Violet-rated constable was, along with ultraviolet-rated constable, one of the two ranks of officers that composed the upper leadership of the Sullustan Constable Brigade, the law enforcement arm of the SoroSuub Corporation, which ruled the Outer Rim Territories planet Sullust. Like the other brigade ranks, the rank of violet-ranked constable was named for a color of light.
