Watervine peach

The watervine peach was a rare fruit from a region of its homeworld. The peach grew on orchards and was sweet with a slight taste of salt. It was a favorite of Mon Mothma's during her childhood. Years prior to 3 ABY, the locals refused to shift all of the supply of the watervine peach to an Imperial officer who liked the fruit. As a result, the Galactic Empire torched the orchards and destroyed the supply, leaving the galaxy without the watervine peach.
