Zand

The zand was a type of tree that was found on Dorin, a dark and dusty planet of mountains, plateaus, and valleys located in the Expansion Region's Deadalis sector. Dorin had a highly stormy atmosphere composed of helium and another, unique gas. The zand was frequently used to obtain building materials, and members of the planet's native Kel Dor species eventually came to use the tree's name as a family name.
