Dangerous Dreams was a compilation release by the band Red Shift Limit, a member-alternating extension of a renegade underground holo network. The release contained the tracks "Binary Cantata," "Dangerous Dreams," "Imperial City," and "Lost Voices." The cover art of the compilation featured the band and album's name in High Galactic and an oozing eye with a skull in its pupil. It was available between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.

At some point no later than 4 ABY, Dangerous Dreams was reviewed and banned by the Galactic Empire's Imperial Board of Culture, as it was deemed to carry anti-Imperial sentiment.
