Emperor Palpatine Commander Expansion
Canon
The Emperor Palpatine Commander Expansion (FFGSWL22) is an expansion to Star Wars: Legion, an asymmetrical two-player infantry-based wargame published by Fantasy Flight Games. As indicated by the name, it includes a scale model of Emperor Palpatine, the ruler of the Galactic Empire. It was first announced on July 10, 2018 and released in December of that year.
As of April 2025, the Palpatine Commander Expansion has been removed from official Star Wars: Legion play. According to an official announcement from Atomic Mass Games, the decision was not made lightly and is to ensure the future of the game can progress as planned.
