Letter from Bail Organa to Breha Organa

Canon Linked from 3 articles

Viceroy Bail Organa of Alderaan wrote a letter in to his wife, Queen Breha, immediately after he was entrusted the baby girl of the late Padmé Amidala. He told her that, although Amidala had died in horrible circumstances, something had happened that would change their lives forever—referring to baby Leia, whom they would adopt. A copy of the letter survived the destruction of Alderaan by the Galactic Empire, and was placed in the archives of Alderaan Memorial on Coruscant, as part of the Breha Organa Collection. Said copy was later included in Leia Organa's biography, written by an archive droid during the conflict between the Resistance and the First Order.
