Maul's motif

A musical motif for Maul was written by Kevin Kiner for the Star Wars Rebels television series. It first appeared in the final episode of the series' season two, "Twilight of the Apprentice," and is used throughout season three as a leitmotif. It reappears in season seven of Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the episode "The Phantom Apprentice."

Maul's motif is further used as the main theme for Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord and has prominent appearances when Maul faces his past struggles after the costly fight with the Inquisitors and when Devon Izara finally agrees to become Maul's dark side apprentice.
