Star Systems of the Galaxy

Star Systems of the Galaxy is an appendix listing star systems, their sectors, regions, and grid coordinates in the Star Wars galaxy. It was first published on June 24, 2025 alongside the galaxy map titled Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com. It introduced 6,280 systems, sectors, and regions that had gone unidentified or unmentioned in Canon until its publication. It acts as a continuation of the Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion appendices, which were created as a tie-in to the Star Wars Legends reference book The Essential Atlas. As such, many of the systems and sectors, along with their coordinates, have their origins in Legends and reference planets and other astronomical objects that have yet to make their appearance in Canon. Upon launch, the appendix lacked entries related to most media released after early 2024, but the plan for the map and appendix is for it to be updated and revised periodically.
