Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic was the first story arc of the comic series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The story was written by Henry Gilroy, the head writer for the first season of the television show. The arc ran for six issues from September 10, 2008 to May 13, 2009.
The story arc was later adapted in the Season Four episodes "Kidnapped," "Slaves of the Republic," and "Escape from Kadavo."
