The Empire Strikes Back Annual No. 2 was a hardcover comic book released in the United Kingdom that reprinted the stories from Star Wars (1977) 46 and Star Wars (1977) 50. The first story was previously printed in the UK in The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 141.
As in most UK Annuals that use a previous cover, this one uses a retouched version of the cover of Star Wars (1977) 50, featuring cut side edges and darker overall color tone, because of usual printing needs to make an album format from a comic book.
