The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 140 is the one hundred fortieth issue of the The Empire Strikes Back Monthly series of comic reprints, published on November 1980.
The series, previously titled The Empire Strikes Back Weekly, was renamed when it switched to a monthly publishing schedule. This was also the first issue to reprint an entire US comic book story in a single issue.
