The Journals of Ben Kenobi

"The Journals of Ben Kenobi" were a set of journals written by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during his exile on the desert world of Tatooine. The journal was kept in a keypad safe box in the lower level of Kenobi's home when Luke Skywalker visited the home in 1 BBY. After Kenobi's mortal death, Luke visited Kenobi's home on Tatooine and discovered the journal kept in a case labeled "For Luke."

The stories included adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi in his efforts to protect Luke, and help the townsfolk. In addition, Kenobi noted his eagerness to learn more about the Force, and tries to communicate with Qui-Gon Jinn as well as reflect on his decisions as a Jedi. Furthermore they included instructions for building a lightsaber. They were written using a calligraphy set, which was eventually passed down to Ben Solo.
