The Original Story Celebrated
Canon
The Original Story Celebrated is an animated YouTube series produced by Industrial Light & Magic for StarWars.com. It uses crochet-inspired animation to recreate moments from several Star Wars media including The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. The creators used three-dimensional scans of crochet models and sets as animation templates. The production team also drew inspiration from Jim Henson's use of stop motion animation in The Muppets.
