The Theed Daily News was a news periodical based in the city Theed on the planet Naboo. In 32 BBY, it published an image from the "Liberation Day" Parade that occurred in Theed following the Battle of Naboo. It depicted Governor Sio Bibble holding the Globe of Peace while standing with Senator Sheev Palpatine, Queen Padmé Amidala, the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and the astromech droid R2-D2. In 35 ABY, the historian Beaumont Kin used the image in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire and credited the Theed Daily News.
