A thesis was written by a student at the the University of Bar'leth on the Core Worlds planet Bar'leth by 4 ABY. It contained a mention of the moon Madurs, and established it had a presence of the energy-rich material carnium. That year, it was included within a dossier Rebel Intelligence Major Nioma had given to Princess Leia Organa because of its mention of Madurs, which Organa intended to visit.
