With You Among the Stars

"With You Among the Stars" was a ballad by the band Plexo-33 that featured a glissando in its first notes, recognizable to those who had heard it before. The song was considered an "oldie" by 5 BBY, having been released long before then. A human resident of the planet Lothal, Merei Spanjaf, hated the song. When she awoke one morning and heard her datapad alarm playing "With You Among the Stars," Spanjaf was so irritated that she immediately launched herself out of bed to silence the "treacly ballad" as she recognized the glissando. She then switched the music to a heavy-isotope remix.
