105th Stormtrooper Platoon

The 105th Stormtrooper Platoon was a platoon that served in the Stormtrooper Corps during the Galactic Civil War. Stationed aboard Starlyte Station, the platoon supported Imperial liaison officer Lieutenant Arissa Fawn.

Nicknamed "The Emperor's Irregulars", the unit's Stormtroopers were regarded as none-too-bright and none-too-competent, and various remarks made about them suggested that they might have been psychologically damaged.

The impression of eccentricity was enhanced by the fact that their commanding officer, Commander Brezzic Marr, encouraged the personalization of their armor, so that each Stormtrooper wore the 105th's platoon symbol, combining the cog of the Empire with a lightning bolt, on their right shoulder, and they also adopted individual badges. One had the Mythosaur skull of the Mandalorians on the brow of his helmet, another had a sigil from Concord Dawn on his body armor. Their somewhat bizarre appearance was further reinforced by Commander Marr's enthusiasm for parading his men around the station, setting their pace with rhythmic chants that onlookers often found amusing.

However, not withstanding their unconventonal qualities, their regular marching drill gave the platoon strict military discipline, and they also displayed the usual stormtrooper characteristics of fanatical loyalty and unyielding determination in combat.

Their standard weapon was the SoroSuub Stormtrooper-Two, a wildly inaccurate but ludicrously overpowered copy of the standard E-11, and the typical trooper generally also carried a hold-out blaster as well.
