The airborne infantry was a military division within the Grand Army of the Republic during the pan-galactic Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance. The Republic's clone airborne infantry participated in the conflict's opening engagement; the First Battle of Geonosis. There, a group led by clone battalion commander Seven-One led a frontal assault against Trade Federation core ships.
