Aldera security forces

The city of Aldera on the planet of Alderaan maintained highly skilled security forces that served as a law enforcement agency. It was notable for its deployment of non-lethal policing techniques and added to Alderaan's reputation of being a peaceful world. Visitors who proved to be troublesome were often not tolerated for long, and difficult criminals were quickly detained or escorted off world.

Although the techniques used added to the pacifist demonstrations of Alderaan, it also allowed for a good ruse for covertly escorting rebel craft without attracting Imperial attention.
