Alderaanian Diplomatic Corps
Canon Legends version → Linked from 3 articles
The Alderaanian Diplomatic Corps was a diplomatic group from the planet Alderaan. Prior to the Tantive IV—a CR90 corvette used by the royal house of Alderaan—being assigned a mission to the planet Tatooine in 1 BBY, the corps assigned the protocol droid U-3PO to the droid pool of the corvette. U-3PO had secretly been altered by Imperial agents and acted as a sleeper agent for them onboard the ship.
