Military unit
Assault (CompForce)
Canon Legends version → Linked from 3 articles
Assault was one of two subdivisions comprising the Galactic Empire's CompForce, the other being Observation. It was an elite unit that was dispatched on special missions that often appeared to be settling personal vendettas rather than missions crucial to the Empire's security. The training regimen of the Assault subdivision was harsh enough that members who completed it were fortunate.
