Asteroid Bandits

The Asteroid Bandits, also known as the Mining Pirates, were a group of pirates active in many different star systems in the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War. In space battles, they flew Z-95-AF4 Headhunters, G1-M4-C Dunelizard fighter, T-65 X-wing starfighters, and Firespray-31-class patrol and attack crafts. After the Battle of Yavin, a group of Mining Pirates led by Dorn Nareusu seriously disturbed the civilian traffic in the Kashyyyk system by destroying numerous transports. After several weeks, Belga Daeri, an official at the Kachirho spaceport, placed a bounty on Nareusu. In 1 ABY, a group of pilots attacked Nareusu's cohorts in the Kashyyyk system to attract the pirate in the system. Dorn Nareusu, piloting an ARC-170 starfighter, was killed in the ensuring fight.
