Besh Team was a unit within Joker Squad, a stormtrooper squad in the Imperial Army of both the Fel Empire and, years later, Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. It was part of Company C, Battalion 9 of the 407th Stormtrooper Division and its members were called "Jokers".
In 138 ABY, the Jokers were part of the force sent by Darth Krayt to attack the Jedi Hidden Temple on the planet Taivas. Corporal Anson Trask, a seasoned stormtrooper on the squad, was assigned by Sergeant Ran Harkas to lead Besh Team.
