Bureau of Sig, Spice and Slavery

The Bureau of Sig, Spice and Slavery, shortened to S3, was an intelligence and analysis law enforcement agency of the Galactic Republic which was formed centuries prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. S3 was responsible for the examination of weaponry, spice, and slaves that were recovered from arrests made by the Republic Security Force and traced their history to create a map of criminal records. Due to corruption within the Galactic Senate, S3 suffered a cut in staff members, budget, and facilities for decades.
