Cad Bane's gang

A gang was active during the Republic Era. The group was originally led by Lazlo, after whose death Cad Bane emerged as the new leader. Other gang members included Arin, a Bith, Tay Grutty, and Vak Lako.

Around between 62 BBY and 33 BBY, Cad Bane was detained by his former friend Niro, a local police officer. Niro subsequently became involved with Arin, Bane's love interest, and raised Bane's and her offspring Isaac as his own. By the time Bane was released from prison, Arin had passed away. During the ensuing confrontation between the now-released Bane and Niro, the former killed the latter, sparing the life of his biological child. Before the showdown, Lako and Grutty had been killed during a shootout as they covered Bane as his snipers, and the Bith had been died some time prior, leaving Cad Bane as the only surviving gang member.
